Conasauga Capital is a private equity fund manager which is currently investing its first fund, The Strong Horse Fund.
The Principals of Conasauga Capital are Jonathan F. Kent, Scott Fletcher and Tommy Boggs. These individuals have significant business, financial and transactional experience working with lower middle market companies. The Principals have experience in acquiring, operating, advising, and selling growing companies and assisting the managers of those companies in implementing long-term organic and acquisition growth plans.
“Conasauga” is a Cherokee word which means “grass” or “sparkling water” but it also means “Strong Horse.” The Conasauga River, which runs through Northwest Georgia and Southeast Tennessee, was described by the Cherokee Indians as overflowing its banks like a strong horse. Conasauga Capital is seeking to partner with management teams to create strong horses to help lower middle market companies achieve their full potential and provide significant returns for the management teams and the investors in the funds managed by Conasauga Capital.

The Strong Horse Fund is a committed capital fund established to make long-term investments in lower middle market companies in the Southeastern United States. The Fund will make investments alongside existing management or along with experienced business professionals acquiring middle market companies. The Fund has the ability to provide both equity and mezzanine financing to support its acquisitions.
